When using a space, respect the property and follow agreed rules.

Users are responsible for damage caused by themselves or people they bring onto a property.

3. Meet and communicate safely

When meeting another user or visiting a space:

• Communicate clearly;
• Meet in a safe environment where possible;
• Verify important information;
• Ask questions before making payments;
• Let someone know where you are if you are meeting someone for the first time;
• Trust your instincts.

Do not share unnecessary personal or financial information.

4. Inspect before you agree

Where possible, Space Seekers should inspect a space before making important decisions or payments.

Before entering into an arrangement, discuss:

• Price;
• Access;
• Duration;
• Permitted use;
• Deposits;
• Cancellations;
• Refunds;
• Any important rules.

We recommend recording important agreements in writing.

5. Verification

Home-Me may provide identity verification to help promote trust and reduce fraudulent activity.

However, verification does not guarantee:

• Future behaviour;
• Property ownership;
• Safety;
• The success of an arrangement.

Continue to exercise reasonable care when interacting with other users.

6. Reporting concerns

Please report:

• Suspicious activity;
• Fake listings;
• Fraud;
• Harassment;
• Safety concerns;
• Misuse of the Platform.

7. Our community
